Winchester Coroners Court
A NEW Forest pensioner died after a fall caused a traumatic head injury.
Dennis Griggs, 91, of Bank, near Lyndhurst, suffered the fall at home, an inquest heard.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital but his condition deteriorated and he died on October 22.
The preliminary cause of death was traumatic brain injury caused by fall, and pneumonia.
Senior coroner Christopher Wilkinson adjourned the inquest to May 23 next year.
