A VILLAGER has been banned from the road for drug driving.
Liam Williams, 29, of Chilton Candover, was in a Peugeot 3008 when stopped by the police on June 19 on Rownest Wood Lane, near Micheldever Station.
He was tested for cannabis and his level was more than seven micrograms per litre of blood when the legal limit is two.
Williams admitted the charge and was disqualified for 12 months.
Magistrates in Basingstoke also fined him £140. There was no order for costs or victim surcharge as those have been imposed for other offences.
