POLICE investigating an assault in Eastleigh town centre have charged a man with several offences.
Patrick Noel McGinley, 38, of Russell Street, Derby, has been charged with one count of assault, two counts of using threatening/abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress and one count of racially aggravated public order.
It comes after an incident in Southampton Road on Wednesday afternoon.
McGinley released on conditional bail but is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court next Wednesday.
