SIR: I was sad to see in last week's Romsey Advertiser that Bobbi Cox has died.
Bobbi lived in Anderson Close, Woodley with her husband John and children Cheryl and twins Ian and Catherine. She was well known and much loved in the Woodley area. For many years she was the ‘Lollipop Lady’ on Braishfield Road and many of your readers who went to Cupernham and Romsey Schools will remember her. She was involved with the Cubs and was a prodigious fund raiser when Woodley Village Hall was built in the early 1980’s.
Bobbi was a friend to all and would help anyone. May she rest in peace.
