A man was arrested in Romsey yesterday as part of three drug raids by police in the town.
A tweet from Romsey Police said: “Yesterday Romsey Police executed three separate drug warrants in the town. As a result of this a 48 year old local man was arrested in possession of a starting pistol and Class A drugs.
“He was interviewed late last night and placed on Police bail.”

A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said:
"A 48-year-old man from Lockerley was arrested on suspicion of acquiring / using /possessing criminal property, possession of a firearm without a certificate and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
"It comes after officers carried out two separate drugs warrants in Princes Road, Romsey and a third in Willis Avenue, North Baddesley on January 24."
