A ROYAL photo display is coming to a church in Romsey to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Abbey United Reformed Church, the church on the Square, is inviting the public to submit photos of the Royal Family in Romsey ahead of its exhibition.

The exhibition will run for the weekend of May 28-29 and over the Platinum Jubilee double bank holiday weekend; entry will be free.

Romsey has had a long association with members of the Royal Family and their friends, and the people in Romsey have been capturing those special moments.

Photoflair of Romsey will be supporting this event by offering to scan and print a copy of royal photos at a reduced rate.

Images need to be left at Photoflair by May 14 to allow the organisers to arrange their placement. Once the exhibition has finished, photographs can be collected.

Hampshire Chronicle:

Sarah Beaman, PR for the church, said: “This is a one-off event for the Platinum Jubilee this year, Romsey has been visited regularly by members of the Royal family, mainly due to the close relationship with Broadlands and Lord Mountbatten's family.”

Please watch the church's Facebook page, website or magazine for further details.
