Data gathered over the last five years has revealed most and least expensive streets in the Romsey area.

Home sales company Property Solvers tracked average sold price data from HM Land Registry since 2016 to see where the highest and lowest-priced homes are located across the SO51 postcode.

On Straight Mile, four properties sold for an average of £1,327,500. Also, Danes Road saw five properties sell for an average of £1,151,000.

Some of the cheapest streets include Selborne Court where five properties sold for an average of £103,300). Winchester Court saw 11 properties sold for an average of £109,136 and Homemead House where 18 properties sold for an average of £109,583.

The rest of the most expensive are Embley Lane, East Wellow; Jermyns Lane, Ampfield; Rudd Lane, Romsey; Chapel Lane, Timsbury; Ryedown Lane, East Wellow; Hookwood Lane, Ampfield; and Crawley Hill, West Wellow.

The rest of the least expensive are Kingsmead, West Wellow; Great Well Drive, Romsey; Faber Mews, Romsey; Middlebridge Street, Romsey; and Knatchbull Close, Romsey.

Property Solvers co-founder Ruban Selvanayagam said: “To keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had over three sales.

“It’s therefore worth noting that, in recent years, a property on Eldon Lane sold for £2,450,000 and, at the other end of the market, there were properties that sold for £140,000 and under on Winchester Hill, Mount Pleasant and Market Place.”
