STUDENTS had a sweet afternoon thanks to an event organised by county food group Hampshire Fare.
The group sponsored a free doughnut tasting event at City College Southampton for pupils from Year 10 and 11.

Tracy Nash, commercial manager at Hampshire Fare, said: "This opportunity to make and bake doughnuts was a great way to get teenagers into the kitchen and learning new skills.”
Julie Hancock, bakery lecturer at the college, said: "We are looking to run more courses like this to inspire the next generation of chefs."
The day was held on Tuesday, February 22 and a prize was given for the best looking and tasting doughnuts, which was won by Ellia.
