A model railway society in Romsey recently held its first exhibition for two years.
Romsey and District Railway Modellers Society welcomed Mayor of Test Valley Cllr Mark Cooper to its 42nd exhibition in the Crosfield Hall.
They had members of the Mountbatten School railway club with their 'Thomas' model and teacher Andy Smart.
John Caines, chairman of the society, said: “Being affiliated members of our club, they assisted in greeting the public at the door with exemplary manners and behaviour.
“Thanks to the wonderful support from families, friends and the general public we were able to host a very successful weekend. This will enable us to make donations to local charities.
“The whole weekend was a tremendous success and we look forward to greeting visitors to our 43rd exhibition on the first weekend in March next year, same place it is already booked.”
