A GROUP of four home educated children have been working hard to create a business with the aim of making a profit from £5.
On Sunday, April 10, the group of children will be attending Romsey Makers' Market in the town centre to sell their products between 10am and 4pm.
Dana Carpano, their group leader, has been teaching them how to become entrepreneurs over the course of 10 weeks, via Zoom, as part of the annual Virgin Make £5 Grow initiative.
Dana said: "The children have been researching ideas, costing them and conducting market research before deciding on an idea to take production. They have worked incredibly hard in their own time to accomplish everything needed to create successful businesses and are younger than you may expect.
"The children’s businesses include, home-made jewellery, cards, eco-friendly fidgets and sewn gifts such as scrunchies, chicken phone holders, hedgehog pin cushions and drawer fresheners.

"The products will be sold at bargain prices ranging from £2 to £10. Visit Romsey on April 10 to see their marvellous, unique products and to pick up a gift or two while supporting these enthusiastic young entrepreneurs aged between eight to 12.
"Why don’t you come down on April 10? There’s loads to check out and buy at Romsey Market."
