PEOPLE attending events put on by Romsey Carnival will now be able to quench their thirst on the go as the organisers recently had a mobile bar donated to them by a local firm.

DKR Joinery donated the bar to help with the upcoming events for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. It will also help the group to raise funds for charities at various events.

Romsey Carnival’s chairman John Ray collected the bar from Kim DeSouza from DKR Joinery.

Sylvia Finch, from Romsey Carnival, said: “We appreciate immensely the generosity of DKR Joinery for the donation of this mobile bar. This will enable us to raise funds at events which will increase the amount that we will be able to donate to local charities at the end of the year.”

The carnival’s ‘Hundreds in The Hundred’ event will take place on June 2 from 2pm to 8pm.
