A JUBILEE street party called Hundreds in the Hundred will take place on June 2.
This is a free event run by Romsey Town Carnival.
The committee will be providing entertainment which will include the Romsey old cadets, Swan Samba band, DJ Linda, and the jubilee band.
There will be face painting, lantern making, and other children's entertainment. Also Carlos ice cream, hot dogs, sweet cart, and George's trust Strawberries and cream.
Carnival chairman John Ray said: “Romsey Carnival committee is a small group of volunteers who raise funds for local charities and organisations but holding a series of events during the year. The committee hope you all come and enjoy this day with us. Long live the Queen.”
The road closure of The Hundred will be from 1pm to 8pm.
The Mayor of Romsey Councillor Neil Gwynne will open the event at 2.30pm.
People can start setting out their tables and chairs from 1.30pm onwards.
