A CAR has been destroyed after catching fire on a busy motorway.
Flames ripped through the vehicle on the eastbound M27 at Junction 9 on Saturday, June 11.
The incident saw long queues building on the motorway but all lanes have since reopened.

Fire crews from Hightown attended the scene and extinguished the blaze.
No-one was trapped inside the vehicle.
The cause is yet to be determined.
