CASES heard by Salisbury and Swindon Magistrates' courts:

JAMES JOHN BECKETT, aged 45, care of Barnard Street, Salisbury, indicated a plea of guilty to stealing two antique jugs from Salisbury Antiques Market on October 14, 2020. On the same day he possessed a quantity of amphetamine. Beckett was fined £80 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32. 

CHARLIE GEORGE MARTIN, aged 18, of Redworth Drive, Amesbury, pleaded guilty to assault by beating on March 12, 2022. This was committed during a six-month conditional discharge order. Martin was fined £120 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. 

GARY TIMOTHY POYNTON, aged 67, of High Street, Upavon, was found guilty of intentionally damaging a car to the value of £324 on July 6, 2020. Poynton was ordered to pay compensation of £324 and costs of £620. 

OLLIE JAMES WILLIAMS, aged 22, of Weston Lane, Winterslow, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit. On October 10, 2021, Williams was recorded driving a Peugeot 207 along Clarendon Road in Alderbury with 45 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £200 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £160. He was banned from the road for 12 months. 

WARREN CHRISTOPHER CHANT, aged 33, of Westwood Road, Bemerton Heath, pleaded guilty to completing business as a scrap metal dealer when not authorised by a licence. This was recorded between May 4, 2020, and March 21, 2022. On January 11, 2022, Chant transported unspecified waste without being a registered carrier. He was fined £240 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £240. 

KAYLEIGH LOUISE MCCOLL, aged 28, of Cowdrey Square, Andover, pleaded guilty to assault by beating in Tidworth on February 6, 2021. This was committed during a suspended sentence order. McColl was jailed for six weeks and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £122 and costs of £85. 

WILLIAM RUPERT GILES SUMNER-FERGUSSON, aged 40, of Cuffs Lane, Tisbury, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes without the appropriate policy of insurance. It was recorded on January 14, 2022, along Hindon Road in Teffont. Sumner-Fergusson was fined £120 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. His driving record was endorsed with six points. 

JACK FINLAY JORDAN, aged 19, of Wilton Road, Salisbury, indicated a plea of guilty to avoiding a payment of £129 on food on June 9, 2021. He was ordered to pay compensation of £129.

ANGELA SUSAN PHILLIPS, aged 59, of Coronation Road, Warmley, indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a police officer, and intentionally causing harassment, alarm or distress, on June 24, 2022. Phillips was fined £200 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and costs of £85.

CAMERON JAY CURRIE-SMITH HILLMAN, aged 28, of Robbins Lane, Frome, pleaded guilty to driving at a speed exceeding 50mph in Deptford, near Salisbury. He was recorded driving a Fiat Fullback along the A36 on October 5, 2021. He was fined £445 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £45 and costs of £110. He was banned from the road for six months.

ANNA and WITOLD WOLAK, both aged 37, of Lady Godley Close, Tidworth, pleaded guilty to being responsible for a child failing to attend school between September 8, 2021, and February 4, 2022. They were each fined £60, and were each ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £50.
