A CHURCH in Otterbourne is hosting an Easter trail.
St Matthew's Church is hiding 10 hand-decorated eggs around the village for people to find.
It costs £3 to enter and all money goes to the church. It will be held until April 16.
There is also an Easter Monday Fun Day at the church on April 10, from 10am-12.30pm.

COMPTON & Shawford Festival Choir is performing popular choruses and solos from Mendelssohn's Elijah.
It will be in aid of the Voices for Hospices Choir and will be performed in memory of accompanist Gwilym Stacey.
The performance will be held on April 29 at Colden Common Community Centre, starting at 7.30pm.
Admission is £10 on the door.

AN event called ‘A brew and a book’ will be returning to Colden Common.
It is usually held on the last Thursday of each month at Colden Common Community Centre, from 2pm-4pm.
It will be next held on April 27.
They are open to everyone. People can enjoy some company, have a hot drink and have a browse at the second hand books

A CHURCH in Twyford is hosting a concert with music by female composers.
It will be held at St Mary's Church on April 16, starting at 4pm.
Tickets cost £13 in advance or £15 on the door with tea and cake after the concert.
It will feature music by: Clara Schumann, Fanny Mandelssohn Hensel, Eliza Turner, Elizabeth Maconchy and Ailsa Dixon.
Kate Semmens is the soprano and Steven Devine on piano.

It will be held on April 13, which is National Scrabble Day, from 2pm-4pm. This will be a monthly club and is open to anyone.

AN asthma and lung charity is holding support sessions in Colden Common.
BreathEasy will be holding sessions every Wednesday at 2pm in the Church Rooms.
They cater primarily for people with conditions such as COPD, fibrosis, long Covid and other pulmonary conditions.

The lunch club runs at the community centre every Wednesday.
The commitment is only one Wednesday in every four.

A SERIES of talks are held at Colden Common Community Centre on the second Wednesday of the month.
They are called ‘Colden Common Talks With’ and range from talks about hobbies, local history or new skills. 
The centre is urging people to get in touch to register an interest in giving a talk or presentation.
The next event will be hosted by former Colden Common resident Professor Edward Rochead, on April 12 starting at 7.30pm.
He will be giving a talk on the life of the Reverend James Woodforde, who was educated at Winchester College and lived from 1740-1803.
The talk will include extracts from his diary and should be an interesting insight into what life was like during that time.
