The owner of a Romsey music shop is celebrating World Ukulele Day.
Richard Boler, of Hayes Music, holds aloft a Bohemian oil can ukulele ahead of the international celebration tomorrow (Friday, February 2).
His music shop is Hampshire's largest instrument store.
The ukulele originated in Portugal but became popular in Hawaii after Portuguese immigrants took their instruments to the islands in the 1880s.

Ukulele translates to 'jumping flea' in the Hawaiian language.
Mr Boler said: "Over recent years the ukulele has grown in popularity and is replacing the recorder in schools.
“Every village has a ukelele group. Romsey's has about 120 members. It's good for a lot of older people as it's very easy to learn.”
Hayes Music, in Pauncefoot Hill, offer a wide range of the string instrument at their store from beginners to concert, soprano to bass and even electric, ranging from £25-£400.
