A ROAD between Twyford and Shawford will remain closed for another week of work.
UPDATE: The road has re-opened ahead of schedule.
Finches Lane, which leads onto Shawford Road, has been blocked since Monday, February 12 and won’t reopen until Saturday, February 24.
The roadworks have caused minimal disruption during half term but delays are expected when schools return on Monday, February 19.
The works are part of a pedestrian crossing point improvement scheme with new dropped kerbing, tactile paving and reflective bollards being installed.
The road is closed from its junction with Twyford High Street to Norris’s Bridge.
