A WINCHESTER drug driver has been banned from the road for three years.
Christopher Sellwood, of Chaundler Road, Abbotts Barton, was stopped by police in Eastgate Street in the city centre on October 6.
Sellwood was tested for and returned a reading for cannabis of 3.8 per litre of blood, exceeding the limit.
The 33-year-old pleaded guilty to the charge at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on March 7.
He has been banned from the road for three years. Sellwood must also pay a £120 fine, a victim surcharge of £48 and costs of £85.
The court ordered he must pay the total amount of £253 in fortnightly instalments of £10 starting from April 4.
