Many people appeared before Wrexham and Mold Magistrates Courts on Monday, April 23.

Maurice Taylor, of Sullivans Rise in High Street, Connah's Quay (and for whom the court recorded an alternative address of Manley Court in Shotton) was sentenced at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Monday. 
The 51-year-old had been convicted of three offences of making threats to kill, which took place on February 9 in Chester Road West, Shotton. 

The Leader: Maurice Taylor (NWP)Maurice Taylor (NWP) (Image: North Wales Police)He had also been convicted of theft from shop, which saw him taking a case of wine worth £66 from Tesco in Connah's Quay Precinct on December 3 last year, as well as assaulting a man named Graham Richard Thomas at Iceland in Chester Road West on December 4. 
Additionally, Taylor had been convicted of common assault of an emergency worker, which took place at Llay Custody Facility on December 4. 
Taylor must pay £66 in compensation to Tesco, as well as £100 compensation to each of his two assault victims. He must also pay £640 in prosecution costs.

Flintshire Car Sales, based at Ashmount Enterprise Park in Aber Road, Flint, was dealt with for one offence of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver/rider of a vehicle when required, which was proved by the court on the day.
The charge against the company stated that in July last year, having been required to provide such information by or on behalf of the Chief Officer of Police for North Wales, it failed to do so regarding the driver of a vehicle, namely a Citroen motor vehicle, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
The court handed down a fine of £1,000 and ordered Flintshire Car Sales to pay £100 costs, as well as a £400 victim surcharge.
The sum must be paid in full by May 22.

Sarah O'Brien, aged 33 and of Abbey Gardens in Abbeyside, Dungarvan, Waterford.
She was sentenced for exceeding a 50mph speed limit on August 18 last year on the A494 from Deeside Industrial Park Interchange to Queensferry Interchange in a Land Rover.
The court handed down a £576 fine and six penalty points.
She must pay £110 costs and a £230 victim surcharge.

Michael Haslett, aged 45 and of Cobbetts Hill in Weybridge was sentenced for speeding. He'd exceed 30mph on the A541 at Gwersyllt on July 21 last year. He was fined £666 for the offence and received four penalty points. He must pay £110 costs and £533 victim surcharge.

Terry Griffiths, aged 63 and of Glanrafon in Rhosllanerchrugog, was sentenced for driving a DAF oil tanker on the A494 at Bala without due care and attention, which took place on June 1 last year. The court fined him £666 for the offence and banned him from driving for one month. He must also pay a victim surcharge of 246 and costs of £110.
