THE trial of a man accused of a murder in Andover is due to begin today.
Zandrae Smith, of Octavia Court, Bradford, in West Yorkshire, has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Tommy Ferris, a 28-year-old Londoner who was stabbed in an alleyway off Smannell Road on April 13 this year.
Mr Smith, aged 21, has been remanded in custody since he was charged on April 16.
The case will be heard by a jury in a trial expected to last two weeks at Winchester Crown Court.
