A WEEK-long exhibition will showcase the work of artists in an unusual setting.
CASfest’s new event, ‘In the Round’, opens its doors on Monday, March 18, in St Mary’s Chapel, in New Street.
Chapel Art Studios (CAS) associate artists will display their work in an “unusually rare opportunity” as the organisation relaunches for its 10th year with a new logo and a new community programme featuring an Andover town resident artist.
During the festivities there will be a week of art and activities for people to enjoy a taste of creative culture in the town centre.
A CAS spokesperson said: “Whether you want to get creative at our free Saturday drop-in sessions for all the family, network with creative people over brunch on Sunday or experience art performances on the night of our private view, CASfest 2019 has something for you.”
On Saturday, March 23, there will be drop-in art activities for all the family from 11am to 3pm.
The exhibition runs until Sunday, March 24.
CAS is a centre for contemporary artists wishing to develop both their practice and its social impact. As well as supporting artist development, it provides creative education and collaborates with communities on specific projects.
