VOTERS will go to the polls today (Thursday) as they vote for candidates to take over the area’s new wards.
Following a shake-up of boundaries, residents in living in 18 of the 20 wards will elect councillors to serve for the next four years.
With Conservative councillors Phil North and Phil Lashbrook already duly elected to represent the Bourne Valley and Bellinger wards, respectively.
The election will also see the current 48 members reduced by five, with many fighting for seats that they weren’t holding before.
