Driver arrested and passenger taken to hospital after car careers into field
AN ANDOVER man has been arrested after a collision left his passenger needing hospital treatment.
A green Ford Mondeo collided with a parked car before crashing into a field on High Street, Figheldean, about 5am today (Monday).
Emergency services attended the scene and a male passenger was taken to Salisbury District Hospital by ambulance.
The driver of the Mondeo, a 36-year-old man from Andover, was arrested on suspicion of drink and drug driving. He currently remains in custody.
