A GROUP of travellers who set up an encampment on land near Picket Twenty discarded rubbish and ‘human excrement’ as they left the site.
A large police presence descended on to the field near Picket Twenty Sports Pavilion on Wednesday at about 1pm - around 48 hours after the crowd’s arrival.
In a convoy the travellers left with caravans, machinery and cars in tow, with officers following to make sure they had left the town completely.
