CHILDREN lent a hand in a bid to help a company’s mission to save the environment.
The pupils of Vernham Dean Gillum’s Primary School have been helping Lush by collecting bottle tops that the cosmetics retailer will be able to recycle to make many different products.
During the term the school had a visit from Amanda Taylor, head of travel at Lush, to tell the youngsters about the work the company are doing to help the environment.
She also showed the children the process of how the bottle tops will be turned into a number of items including wall coverings for the stores.
The school is still collecting.
