A TEENAGER has died following an incident on the A34 which closed the carriageway earlier this morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A34 this morning at 4.45am whereby a lorry was in collision with a pedestrian.
Officers have now confirmed that the pedestrian, a 19-year-old man from Billericay, Essex, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed
The collision took place on the northbound carriageway between the A33 split and the A272 junction.
Officers closed part of the A34 this morning between the Kingsworthy junction and Three Maids Hill to allow us to carry out enquiries.
An investigation has been launched to discover the circumstance of the incident.
