A petrol station has been temporarily closed after a motorist crashed, causing a huge fuel spillage.
Emergency services were called to Tesco, in River Way, tonight (Thursday) after a white BMW crashed into the fuel station.
Onlookers at the scene said it was an accident.
Two ambulances, one fire engine and a police car were called. No arrests were made.
The lead fire commander told the Advertiser the garage would hopefully reopen later tonight once it had been made safe.
Firefighters were seen rinsing down the forecourt to minimise the risk to the public.
Emergency services had earlier helped tend to the scene as the car was moved out of the way.

Fuel was spilt on the forecourt as a result.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue service confirmed a crew attended the scene to help the driver out of the vehicle.
The call came in at 6.27pm. A spokesperson said the "a vehcile crashed into a petrol pump in River Way, in Andover" and confirmed that no one was injured.
