WITH the UK’s coronavirus lockdown in full swing, the idea of being consigned to our homes all day can certainly be a daunting one.

But many residents have been doing their bit to fend off the isolation blues by sharing messages of hope to help us through these unprecedented times.

Banners, flags, signs and posters have been seen popping up in and around the town sharing kind words, messages of positivity and thanks to those working hard during the pandemic.

From rainbows in windows helping to brighten up the days of other people, to the heartfelt messages of support to our vital frontline NHS workers.

Many of these messages have been shared on the Facebook group ‘Andover – chase the rainbow’ which has already amassed hundreds of members and where you can share your own creations.

Here we’ve shared a few of those signs of solidarity from residents in and around the town.
