CARE providers rustled up Sunday lunch for over 65s for Silver Sunday
Kingsclere-based Bluebird Care Hook and Kingsclere, which provides at home and live in care for people, hosted the event on October 14 to bring together those in the community most likely to experience loneliness.
The guests received a Sunday lunch and enjoyed games.
Kim Teagle, public relations manager at Bluebird Care Hook and Kingsclere, said: “Putting on events like this and knowing we have made a difference for a few hours is incredibly humbling.”
