AS 2018 draws to a close, this week’s Flashback Thursday takes a look back at some of the high street names we said goodbye to this year.
Basingstoke lost many big businesses from Toys R’ Us to Maplin. Homebase closed its doors in late 2017 to reopen as Bunnings. Then less than a year later, Bunnings was no more and Homebase returned!
The Toby Carvery at Down Grange closed in February to be rebranded as a Miller & Carter Steakhouse
A year in business is a long time.
