A CHINEHAM-based print management company is celebrating after breaking into the annual Print Week Top 500 for the first time.

Clone Media, in Crockford Lane, has earned a place in the ranking judged by Print Week, the industry trade magazine, which assesses the UK's top 500 print firms.

An overall ranking is given together with scores for year-on-year sales growth, sales per employee and percentage growth in employees.

Clone Media director Joel Dalton said: “I’m thrilled Clone Media has made it into the Print Week Top 500 for the first time. While happy to be 435th for the main business category, we are delighted to be in the top ten for some of the performance indicators.”

The business has never previously been in the Top 500, which represents the top six per cent of the 8,600 print companies in the UK.

Clone Media director Simon Drury added: “As a highly sales-focused organisation, it’s really satisfying to know that what we’re doing performs against the rest of a highly competitive industry.

“We’re delighted to be on a list that includes so many companies we admire and respect deeply, and we look forward to surging up the rankings further in 2020, which will be our tenth year.”

Simon and Joel both praised their “wonderful team” for making the last 12 months such a success.
