MASKED teenage boys threatened staff with an 'imitation firearm' during an attempted robbery of a convenience store.

The incident happened on Wednesday at around 8.55pm with Koala Store, in Herriard Way, Tadley, targeted.

Two masked teenage boys entered the store and threatened staff inside with what is believed to have been an imitation firearm.

The duo ran off when a member of staff at the store tried to grab one of the boys.

Nothing was stolen.

Both boys are described as being white, of average build and aged between 14 and 16 years.

The first boy is described as being around 5ft 6ins tall and carrying a silver JD Sports bag. He was wearing a grey mask, black hooded top with a white written logo, black jogging bottoms, black and white trainers and black gloves with a white stripe

The second teenager is described as around 5ft 3ins tall and carrying a black JD sports bag. He was wearing a dark mask, maroon puffa-style jacket, black trousers with a white stripe down the sides.

Police released a CCTV image of someone they would like to speak to in connection with the attempted robbery.

A police spokesperson said; "Do you recognise the clothing in this image? Were you in the area at this time and remember seeing two people matching the descriptions given?"
