PUPILS are feeling app-y after winning a coding competition.
The team of four girls from Lord Wandsworth College (LWC) went to the Open Schools Coding Competition on June 26, organised by Red Hat in London.
The task for the 44 schools and 1,700 students involved in the competition was to create an app that could be used by a charity.
The LWC team, called 001, took the top spot with an app they designed to support First Touch, a charity which supports parents of premature babies by offering them advice and practical support.
The app which was created by the four-strong team will now be used by the charity.
