WHETHER you commute to work outside of Basingstoke or like to travel around the county at the weekend, encountering unexpected roadworks can be irritating.

As a new weekly feature, each Friday the Gazette will publish a list of scheduled roadworks by Highways England to help with your week ahead.

There are no planned works on the M3 which is good news for Basingstoke residents.
