JETS of water were sprayed as a mark of respect to close this year’s Odiham Fire Show.
The event held Lodge Farm in North Warnborough, saw hundreds of spectators visit the site where a range of fire engines were on display.
As well as modern day engines on display there was a host of vintage vehicles, which visitors could look inside and see how much the vehicles have changed over the years.
For younger visitors there was a fairground and a model fire engine tent for them to enjoy.
Along with the vehicles on display there were demonstrations form Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
After the event was cancelled last year following the death of its main organiser Mick Paull in January last year.
As well as being an organiser of the fire show, Mick was also watch manager at Odiham Fire Station.
At the end of this year’s event as a tribute to Mick, and to mark 27 years of the fire show, 27 fire engines, old and new, used “27 Jets” directed at the church tower in memory of Mick.
The event was raising money for the Firefighters charity and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
