SANTA Claus is coming to town.

After an absence last year, the Basingstoke Santa Sleigh will return to the town’s street this year.

Dates for this year’s tour have been announced by organisers after the sleigh has been moved from Grimsby ready for its trip around Basingstoke.

Santa will be stopping in Popley, Beggarwood and Oakridge.

Along with his reindeer, Santa will stop at the One Stop in Shakespeare Road on December 20 between 7pm and 8pm.

Then on December 21 he will be making two stops in Beggarwood at the Portsmouth Arms between 4pm and 5pm, then the co-op on Broadmere Road between 7.30pm and 8pm.

Finally, Santa will come to the Oakridge Hall For All, in Forsythia Walk, on December 22 betweek 7pm and 8pm.
