BASINGSTOKE-bound trains are unable to stop at Hook this evening as the weather closes in.

As previously reported in the Gazette, two yellow weather warnings have been issued as a band of heavy rain, accompanied by strong winds with gusts of up to 80mph, sweeps across the region.

A fallen tree has blocked one of the lines between Hook and Basingstoke, meaning trains cannot stop at Hook.
