A BROKEN down vehicle at Brighton Hill roundabout has caused severe traffic jams during the evening rush hour.
Hampshire Police confirmed to the Gazette at around 5.15pm that the vehicle has remained there "for some time" as recovery crews have been unable to reach it.
It is causing delays from the roundabout back along Winchester Road to the ring road, and as far back as the Houndmills entrance slip road.
There is also traffic jams on Winchester Road in King's Furlong.
One motorist told the Gazette that traffic was not moving.
It has also caused delays to buses around the town.

Stagecoach have said there are delays of up to 30 minutes on the service 1, which travels along Winchester Road from the town centre to Brighton Hill.
