A FURTHER 246 people who tested for Covid-19 have died in England, bringing the number of confirmed deaths to 935.
Patients were aged between 33 and 100 years old.
All but 13 patients aged between 63 and 99 had underlying health conditions.
The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has increased by 2,510 in the UK in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 17,089.
As of today, 120,776 have been tested for Covid-19.
There have been 135 recoveries, according to WHO.
The news comes after the prime minister Boris Johnson, health secretary Matt Hancock and chief medical advisor Chris Witty tested positive for coronavirus.
As of yesterday, Hampshire has the second highest amount of cases outside of London, with 317.
But Birmingham is overtaking with 366 confirmed cases.
The regional breakdown on today’s figures is not yet known.
