Friday, March 27

“Same amount of discomfort, due to policies I was advised to self-isolate and due to be swabbed the next day. I self isolated straight away.”

“A few coughs here and there and feeling a bit fatigued. Swab was performed. Straight back home and back to my room - quite nice to have a day to yourself!”

Sunday, March 29

“It hit me. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't string a sentence together. I was falling in and out of sleep my eyes were stuck together. I could barely drink and eat. My legs were like lead.

“All I wanted was Paul and Sophia so not only did I feel unwell I felt lonely.

“Sunday night I was freezing but my skin was like fire. I was having anxious thought that I hadn't had since I first had Sophia.”

Monday, March 30

“I was still very tired. But able to talk for short periods. Still no appetite and still had chest pains. Missing my little girl and Paul so much.”

Tuesday, March 31

“HOORAY, energy! Must shower, paint my nails shave my legs clean my room and I can talk so I must call everyone.

“2pm - BAM! Shortness of breath, tightness in my chest lethargy to the point I couldn't get out of bed I was in tears every time I tried to talk because of how exhausted it made me feel, I couldn't keep my eyes open.

“Respiratory rate of 24 for 4 hours, heart rate 90...I...was...exhausted...my body felt like it was giving up. I was terrified, Paul called 999. I considered writing a will. I didn't know how much more my body could compensate.”

Wednesday, April 1

“Took it very easy on Wednesday step by step. Eating what I can drinking lots of fluids.

“This is not a 'normal' virus. I'm one of the lucky ones, there are a lot of lucky ones but the journey through the virus is unpleasant.”

Falon paid tribute to her partner who she described as a ‘hero’. She wrote: “Thank you to my Paul, my hero who has looked after me and our baby girl, my world I love you so much. To my beautiful family who checked up on me constantly and my amazing friends. All this love kept me strong.”

She went on to urge residents not to ignore small symptoms. She said: “Please share to make people more aware.”

Her account has already been shared dozens of times across Facebook with hundreds of people leaving comments of support.

While another said: “[This is] so scary darling. Thinking of you and so glad you are on the mend.”
