YOUTHS were seen climbing on the roof of a Basingstoke school resulting in one becoming injured.
Police received a report of anti-social behaviour at Winklebury Infant School, in Willoughby Way, after the youngsters were spotted on the roof at around 8pm on April 1.
Hampshire Constabulary said there was a report that one of the youths was injured, but he was picked up in a car before police arrived.
Residents in Winklebury also reported seeing the young people trespassing on the Winklebury Federation site, trying to gain access to the roof.
Michelle Solley-Andrews, from Winklebury, urged parents to act responsibly, saying: “Please can I urge parents to keep their children at home. The NHS has enough to do without dealing with this kind of incident.”
Hampshire Constabulary asked anyone with information about the incident to call 101, quoting 44200118075 or get in touch online via its website www.hampshire.police.uk.
