A MAN from Basingstoke has been arrested after a 25-mile pursuit involving armed police.
The man was in a police pursuit from Junction 11 of the M3 at Winchester to the New Forest yesterday afternoon, with unarmed and armed officers.
He was eventually arrested in Lepe County Park, and taken to custody as his black Mini was uninsured.
Hampshire Constabulary confirmed that the 34-year-old man from Old Basing was reported for four offences.
He was reported for having no insurance, having no licence, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
