NO NEW coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in any hospital across Hampshire.
Latest figures show that in last 24 hours, none of the NHS Trusts across the county registered any deaths in which the virus was mentioned on the death certificate.
As reported by the Gazette, one death was recorded yesterday by the University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust, which runs Southampton General Hospital.
But none of the other NHS trusts across the county reported any new deaths linked to Covid-19.
This includes Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester hospitals, plus Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust and Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust.
The latest figures show that an additional 75 people in England died in hospitals after testing positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
Nationally more than 40,400 people across the UK have now died in hospitals, care homes and the wider community after testing positive for the virus.
