WE asked you where the best spot for watching the sunset is in Basingstoke.

Basingstoke has seen some stunning sunsets recently and with Covid on the rise there is no better time to wonder into the tranquil countryside to get away from the crowds.

Sunset viewing is a wonderful pastime that it is completely free and can be done without breaking the new coronavirus restrictions.

Whether you want to watch with a partner, children, friends or alone whilst walking your dog, you can be sure that the purples, reds, oranges and yellows that streak across the sky will take your breath away.

The most popular spot was Farleigh Hill and it is no surprise seen as it is one of the highest points in the county.

Gabriel Park
