A CAR dealership motored into action to raise money for a charity.
Inchcape Toyota Basingstoke took part in a variety of festive-themed fundraising activities during December to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The team at the Houndmills Industrial Estate centre put together a baking week, raffle, Christmas jumper day, and personalised their own bauble to place on Toyota’s memory tree.
With donations from staff and customers, the Basingstoke branch raised £563 for their chosen charity.
Samantha Donachie, parts supervisor at the retail centre said: “We’re grateful for the support from employees and customers here in Basingstoke and are proud to have raised such a fantastic amount.”
Having supported the Alzheimer’s Society since April 2018, Inchcape has raised £22,574 with the help and contributions from the Basingstoke branch.
