A HAMPSHIRE-BASED business telecoms firm has picked up a top customer services award ahead of big-name national rivals..

Onecom, which has its HQ at Whiteley, beat three others including industry giants O2 and Sky Mobile to be named as winner of the ‘Best Customer Service Award’ at the Mobile News Awards.

The award was accepted by Onecom’s CEO Ben Dowd (pictured) at a ceremony in the heart of London.

Ben Dowd said: “I was thrilled to accept this award in recognition of Onecom’s commitment to customer service on behalf of the whole team.

“I am proud that our staff continue to go the extra mile day in and day out to give our customers a personal service. Our focus on the customer is what stands us apart from our competitors and it’s great to get the acknowledgement we aim for at such a prestigious event.”

Onecom is the UK’s largest independent business telecoms provider.
