TWO Hampshire businesses have teamed up for a podcast aimed at supporting other business people’s health and wealth.

NK Active and Grosvenor Birch are hosting the podcast to support local businesses and give them a platform to discuss the issues important to them, their communities and the region.

The podcast, Health & Wealth, was devised Nick Knight and Lewis Birch in Romsey and will feature guests from across Hampshire.

Mr Knight is clinical director at NK Active in Romsey and Mr Birch is a chartered financial planner at Grosvenor Birch, also based in Romsey.

They say the link between health and wealth has been shown during the pandemic, with people’s health affecting their work and a precarious jobs market in some sectors contributing to health issues.

Mr Knight said: “The concept of the podcast came about from conversations with Lewis about how we have had to proactively work on our respective businesses during lockdown. We will team up to offer advice on various topics such as returning to work safely, protecting your finances going forward and so on.”

Mr Birch said: “We also want to give a platform to local businesses and find out how the last year has impacted on their businesses and what their aims are for the future. By sharing the podcast with like-minded companies and individuals, we want to help drive growth for the area and introduce people who may never have had a platform previously.”

NK Active is a private practice with clinics in Southampton and Basingstoke for treatment of lower limb injuries. It diagnoses injuries, treats pain and directs rehabilitation to reduce risk of further injury.

Grosvenor Birch is a firm of independent, chartered financial planners working with families and business owners.

The first episode of Health & Wealth is an introduction and the second features the hosts in conversation about starting to recover after lockdown as restrictions ease.

The podcast is on platforms including Spotify, Google Podcasts and Anchor and can also be found at healthandwealthpodcast.co.uk
