Shoplifter ordered to compensate Winchester stores she stole from
A SHOPLIFTER has been ordered to pay compensation to the Winchester stores she targeted.
Katherine Jane Moray, 44, of Hyde Gate, Hyde, must pay £329.96 to two shops; £210 to Boots from where she stole Christmas gifts on November 27 and £119.96 to M&S for four bottles of champagne stolen on December 17.
Moray admitted both charges and also failing to attend appointments as part of a community order. The order was revoked and she was fined £40 with £20 costs when she appreared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
