SOME artists suffer for their art. But Jade Davies look like she has been inflicting it on others.
The 21-year-old graphics art student has created one of the most striking images of this year’s degree show at Winchester School of Art.
The face looks like it has been stabbed with dozens of pins. Jade is reluctant to discuss how the work was created. “I can understand people being curious but I don’t want to say too much about how I did it. No humans were harmed in the making of it.”
For more of jade's work see www.jadedavies.co.uk.
The event at the Park Avenue Campus in Winchester, showcased student work from fine art; fashion and textiles; and graphic arts. Fine art work was also displayed at the former Wintex laundry in Hyde Abbey Road.
