POLICE have stepped up patrols after reports of a window being broken after an air rifle was fired in Alresford.
Officers received reports of six youths being seen at the Stratton Bates Recreation Ground in Grange Road with the weapon.
It happened shortly before 5am on Sunday, April 8. Two police cars headed to the scene, but the group had already left.
Police said they had been alerted to one window being broken near the recreation ground. Officers have since stepped up patrols in the area.
